| Route | The route covers the Newlands Valley Horseshoe. | Kit Check: | This is an extremely exposed route early in the season. On this basis a full kit check will be done at registration, and spot checks at the finish for:Full waterproof body cover Map, Compass and Whistle Entry is dependent on your carrying this as a minimum! Not to carry them will result in disqualification. You have been warned! |
| Newlands | Any profits that are made from the race will be donated back to the Newlands Valley. |
| Camping | There are campsites at Keswick and Braithwaite. |
